Boulder's Higgins Finishes Pan Am Cycling Championships with Four Medals

Mexico City, Mexico- Boulder's Cari Higgins (PROMAN Professional Cycling Team) finished her debut Pan American Cycling Championships on Thursday with a bronze medal in the women's Keirin. Higgins completed her competition at the CERA Velodrome with four medals in all four sprint events including the 500 meter, Scratch race, Sprints, and Keirin. Sprinter Jimmy Watkins of Bakersfield, California and Higgins accounted for all six of the team's medals.
Higgins commented "I am so excited to face some great competition in a World Class facility and be successful representing the US. I can't wait for the International competition this winter."
