Boulder's Higgins Starts off Pan Am Cycling Championships with Bronze Medal

Mexico City, Mexico- Boulder's Cari Higgins (PROMAN Hit Squad Cycling Team) started off her Pan American Cycling Championships with a third place finish on Sunday representing the US National Team. Higgins won the bronze medal in the women's 500 meter track cycling event (35.42 sec) behind winner, former World Champion, Lisandra Guerra of Cuba and silver medalist, Diana Garcia of Columbia. This is the first medal for the USA at the Championships.
